[Inactive] Friends computer is under attack
My friend came to me today and told me that she can't access the internet due to some firewall issues. She brought it in and I booted the system up and try to access the internet and is told me that we didn;t have admin access. So I went to the User Account and I got the same message. I saw a google chrome installed within the drive and I was able to get online, but anytime I googled Windows XP User Account, the browser always took me to a virus website such as:
http://63.209.69.107/search/web/Wind.../itcg-21426/v5
Anytime I click on a google link I get this all the time.
What steps do I need to take to clean up this system and remove whatever is keeping me from accessing the User Account on XP?

I've try to download and install the necessarily files as requested from the lead posting: http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...d.php?t=167915 but I keep getting admin privileged not granted when I try to run these programs. They even won't appear on the desktop where I saved them even when I rename them.

It seems that this is a smart virus, cause it even blocks safe mode bootup!
It just keeps giving me the blue screen of death when I try to boot into safe mode.
So I took the hard drive out in installed in a good system and Microsoft Security Essential detected right away that the autorun.gen on the hard drive was infected with the VirTool:INF/Autorun.gen
