[RESOLVED] How to change font in Windows Live Mail
I had everything just as I wanted it in Windows Live Mail and then I got a new computer.
Can anyone tell me how to change the font and use bold (all the time) in Windows live mail 2011?
Thanks in Advance.

garybeafl--I am not sure I agree with the suggested procedures in either of jdc2000's links.
To change the default font, font style, color and font size when sending messages click the unnamed icon ( in a blue box) at the very top left of the Windows Live Mail window (just below the title bar), click Options|Mail and the Compose tab. If you want to change all these font settings for just one message, you do that from the New Message ribbon.
To change the size of the font when reading messages, click the unnamed icon at the very top left of the Windows Live Mail window (just below the title bar), click Options|Mail and the Read tab, then Font. Size is the only thing you can change.

Welshjim you got it right with your response. By clicking on the unnamed icon in the top left did the trick. I learn something new every day.
Thank you so much.

Not directly related to the original question but this info might be of assistance to anyone using Windows Live Mail (WLM) with IE9 installed when viewing received messages sent in HTML.
The latest IE9 cumulative update MS11-081
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2586448
contains a fix to resolve an IE9 caused problem noted in this KB 2601253.
