    Adobe always wants you to "upgrade" to their "latest and greatest" software, so they don't provide security updates for their previous versions in most cases.

    Again completely uninstalled Flash Player using the Flash Player uninstaller and then reinstalled the latest version of Flash Player from the Adobe web site.

    Not perfect but a little better.
