Ok thanks. The printer and switch should be here Saturday. The printer specs say, 'Printer Interface: USB, Ethernet 10/100Base-TX', so my RJ45 cat5 cables should be fine for use.
I shall report back once it is set-up.

Ok, went with the HP P1606dn, got it installed with no drama and all devices print just fine to the printer. It seems to do auto double sided printing just fine so that will save some on paper as well.
This one is solved. Thanks much for the help.
