[RESOLVED] Problem installing VGA driver
Hi happy new year to you all.
Just have a slight problem, i have an Acer Aspire 1640z that i have just re-installed XP on with SP3, but when i download the vga driver from acer's website and try to install i get the following error message :
Setup cannot proceed because the length of the specified directory path plus the installation folder name exceeds 88 characters, please shorton one or both below the specified limit and try again.
Any ideas how i can install the VGA driver ?
Thanks

Try creating a "c:\tmp" folder, moving your VGA driver install program into it and then run it from in there.
