Show address bar in (My) Computer in Windows 7

Anyone know how to get the Address bar to show up in (My) Computer in Windows 7? My searches have turned up nothing useful. Thanks.

That is what I thought. However, I am trying to diagnose an issue by phone for a user that barely knows how to turn on a computer, and this user is claiming that there isn't one. Unfortunately, he was upgraded to Win 7 just before he went on vacation, and didn't bother to mention the pending upgrade to anyone. My guess is that the address bar is there, but he just doesn't recognize it. Of course his screen capture software is not installed either (it probably won't work on Win 7 anyway), and he is behind a firewall so I can't remote in to his computer. I'll have to see if I can find a decent way for him to capture a screen shot in Win 7.

Might want to check that Navigation Toolbar is checked--right click on the File, Edit, View etc. bar and it should be in the drop down.

Ignore my reply--I re-read your post and see you're looking for it in My Computer. I don't have it there either. Sorry 'bout dat.

Is there an Organize button so they can add the menu bar...like Vista has?

It is hard to tell - this user wouldn't recognize an organize button if he had one. Does anyone know if Printkey 2000 works on Windows 7? I think the Snipping Tool is beyond his capabilities to use.

Unfortunately, you can't paste images into the e-mail program this user has to use. He would have to paste into Word, then attach the file. Plus, I would get the entire screen full of junk, and the image might have something over the top of what I wanted to see.

If you think you'll be getting more then ONE pic from this client - getting them a fancy app would be nice.

Attaching pic to MS Paint does a better job then word when saved as a jpeg...Not to mention they could cut out just the needed section to send.

jdc2000--It may be hard to help this person if they cannot help you.
Having said that, there seems to be no My Computer in Win7.
There are two ways to access Computer.
    One is Start|Computer.
The other is to open Windows Explorer (that seems to be a default icon shortcut in the Taskbar).
And then click Computer in the left panel.
In either case you get a screen that has an Address line in the usual place, but it is not what might be expected. It is not white. It rather is gray and has an entry in script saying "Computer" with an down arrow.
When you click on that line, it finally looks like the usual Address line (white).
    Good luck.

I meant to include a screen shot of what the Computer window looks like. Note that the address line is greyed out. But it is quite active.
