I was installing a D-Link wireless card in a PC and, on clicking 'Finish' at the end of installing the drivers, the PC blue-screened on me. Now when I try to boot I get the error message -

SAS window - winlogon.exe - application error

The instruction at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate program. Click on Cancel to debug program.

Clicking on either OK/Cancel causes a reboot, then the same message appears.

I can boot OK into Safe Mode. PC is clean of any malware, XP Pro/SP3, fully patched.

Can someone help me get this running again - it's my teenage son's machine, and he'll go ballistic when he finds it's not working
