    Resolved [RESOLVED] Flash players besides Adobe?

    Are there any other flash players to use besides Adobe, ?

    I just uninstalled the one i had,.

    Interesting article and comments on that link maybe that's why it was acting buggy, due to the merger, no problems since i uninstalled it, naturally a few things you can't view

    I hate, hate, hate Adobe. They write some of the buggiest, most unsecure, bloated code in the programming world.

    That said, I install Flash. IMO, you have to have it if you surf the web.

    And that said, I control it using things like NoScript in Firefox and TurnFlash (from Nirsoft) in IE.

    There is a competitor, Microsoft's SilverLight. It's NOT a substitute for Flash but it is very similar. To date, I have not installed it and hope I never have to!
