Windows XP emulation
Can XP programs be emulated on Windows 7 Home Premium ?

I don't know what you mean by emulated
You can run an XP Virtual Machine in Windows 7, if that is what you meant. Or there is an XP Compatibility Mode, as there was in Vista.

Apologies, if I have not articulated the question clearly. I run XP so know little about Vista or Windows 7. A friend wants to run an XP program on his Windows 7 laptop. What he wants to know is whether his machine can be 'kidded' into playing it. The program is called PlanePlotter and is pretty specialist, so it does not appear on the Windows 7 Compatibility program. I have written to PlanePlotter Support and await their reply, but in the meantime thought that I would put the question to my favourite forum.
