[RESOLVED] Samsung Notbook NP R50 networking
I have rebuilt from scratch my son's R50 with Win XP and it is working OK including connection to the net through a router.
However I cannot connect to the LAN ie other computer connected to the router. When I look at the Computer Properties - Computer Name - the Network ID is greyed out. I have looked at to ensure all the drivers from Samsung are intalled.
Other PCs on the LAN can see each other and share files etc.

You have a different name for the computer description and all have the same network name.
The default names are different between XP and Vista as a exqample.

I just set the My Documents to Share and it can be seen and opened by my Vista laptop!!
