Resolved [RESOLVED] Do you want to scan and fix

This popup occurs everytime I insert a flash drive. It's annoying and I want to disable it. Is it possible?

    Try the CMD:
    chkdsk x: /r
Where "x:" is the drive letter of the device.

You might want to just pull the data off and reformat the flash drive.

Oh No I don't want to check the disk and I know the info is fine. It's a little pop up box I think it's a vista thing. Whatever flash drive I insert in the USB this pop up box appears and asks If I want to check the disk. I can either then check or skip.

Edit: I'll get a print screen done tomorrow that will explain it better.

Click yes, then I made sure both boxes where checked and let it run.

Failing to use the Safely Remove for USB devices causes that normally.

Gots to wait for everything to get written to the device before using the Safely remove.

Not sure what you mean there...

I'd like to say again I do not want to check any disks. All my disks are fine - the problem is not HOW to chkdsk; the problem is the pop up box that appears anytime I insert any disk into the usb.

Tomorrow like I said I will paste a pici of it.

What the guys are telling you is, if you let it check the disk, then it should stop asking you ever time you insert the flash drive.

Try this: go to Start, type "cmd" without the quotes, and then right-click on the shortcut in the Start Menu and choose "Run as administrator". Once in the Admin Command Prompt, type "chkntfs /d" without the quotes.
