    Question new drivers installed notice?

    When i booted up today, there was a notice in the task bar "new driverrs installed ready to use". Without me doing that, any idea why this?

    vista home premium 32 bit
    firefox 3.5.30729

    Any idea as to what icon it was connected to in the System Tray? Do you have automatic Microsoft udpates turned on? Do you have any other automatic updating software like BigFix or a computer manufacturers auto updater running?

    no auto updates, never saw this happen before, "unless i installed a device", this was not one of those times.
    nero , foxit, ie,ca, ff, are the only ones in the tray-- network, and volume also.
    nero is not the full version either

    Did the message say "new drivers" or "new device"? If you connect a new USB drive, you may get the latter message.

    Thumbs up Malware

    I installed Malwarebytes Anti Malware

    found 2 items-- Rogue.Installer File C\proghram files\setup.exe

    and
    Adware Minni.Bug Registry Key Hkey_current_users\software micro

    deleted

    Question File ASSASIN

    File ASSASSIN, it's under more tools, it says "run tool", when i do that ,you have to pick individual files, is that the way that works? then if you open one it says this file will be deleted -yes- no- continue, i think, it says for files that may be locked?

    i think i see system improvement now those are gone!
