dll Files in Public Documents
New to Vista (Hate it so far.)
I open the default Public Documents in my wife's brand new laptop (Vista Home Basic)from my own laptop and is shocks to see that there these .DLL files in there.
NTIOFM4.dll, NTIMPEG2.dll, NTIMP3.dll, NTIBUN5.dll
What are these DLL files & what are doing in a public files?

BlackBeanie--I found one reference to one of those .dll files being malware. The other references just ignore those files when they appear in malware scans, so the odds are you do not have to worry.

Here is what the Public Folder does.

What do these files do? I have no clue. I do not use Vista. What can you learn from a right click|Properties--especially on the Version tab?
Do you find these files anywhere else on the hard drive--Like C:\Windows\System32?
They usually are hidden files, so it is a little surprising that you found them.
