Unidentified Network (public network)
In Network and Sharing Center I always see a limited connectivity to a "Unidentified Network" via wifi even when I turn the wifi adapter off and plug in the ethernet cable. Sure I am connected to my own network but right below that, it always show this unidentied work. What is going on? And there is no option to discoonect the connection if it is indeed connected (which I don't think so b/c my wifi adapter is turned off.)

It shows up even after I turn off the on board wireless adapter. that's why I am not sure what's going on.

Oh, ok, got you. But just out of curiosity, why does it says I have a "limited connectivity" wireless connection to when the wifi card is off. It doesn't make sense or am I missing something?

well you have 2 wireless and one wired, and like I have seen, my wireless sometimes reads a router somewhere near me and may even let me log in and still give that reading. Maybe yours is doing the same thing
