    Antispyware

What is currently considered the best antispyware software.
I have tried SpywareDr, Malwarebytes Antimalware and Super Antispyware.

I would be grateful for your comments.

For freebies, I've found MalwareBytes AntiMalware to be a bit better at cleanup than SuperAntispyware. The free versions don't provide real-time protection but if you use a good antivirus (if you are thinking free, Avira or Avast NOT AVG IMO), manually scan with MBAM/SAS regularly, don't surf risky sites, don't do P2P, don't open email attachments willy nilly and keep Windows fully up-to-date, you should stay in pretty good shape. Bottom line is that both of these programs are easy recommendations and can both be on a PC at the same time.

You are running Eset security, so you are already covered well there.

Oh FWIW... You can get a somewhat basic version of Spyware Doctor for free through the Google Pack but IMO, I would not run it. It's a resource hog and it runs all the time (which free MBAM and SAS do not have to do.)

    Ditto to what HAN said.

Malwarebytes is an excellent program... I'd install it and run it regularly.. every week or so. Superantispyware is good too and would not cause any problems if it were also installed and run regularly.
Note that Superantispyware is meant to be run in safe mode for optimum scanning/results.

VirtualDr email notices are not working.
    Check back regularly for responses.

Thank you both for your prompt reply. For the last year I have been running SpywareDr licensed version as my main antispyware, with real time protection. As a backup I had free versions of Super AntiSpyware and MalwareBytes AntiMalware installed and ran them from time to time. Although I had no serious infections that I know about, it seemed to me over time that when ran the freebies after the SpywareDr they almost always found additional malware. My question was prompted by the fact that my Dr license runs out next month, and I thought a change was appropriate.

You have answered my question. Thank you. Will look for a deal on MalwareBytes AntiMalware.

It would have been interesting to see the Super AntiSpyware and MalwareBytes logs for sure.

    Antispyware.

Unfortunately I deleted MalwareBytes Quarantine file. The Logs for MalwareBytes and Supe AntiSpyware are combined in the attached log. Please note that only the first two item in the Malawre Bytes portion of the list show infections. Also attached is the Quarantine file for the Super Spyware.

Unfortunately are uninstalled the SpywareDr, and will rely on the SuperSpyware and MalwareBytes, both pro options. MalwareBytes on active protection, SuperSpyware as a backup to run in the Safe Mode.

Thanks for your help, and sorry I destroyed some data prematurely.

Thank you all for your comments. I already practice safe surfing as outlined by HAN above, but I guess I am a "belt and suspenders" kind of internet user.

By the way the v4 of Eset Security seems to have a very effective Spam filter. Simplifies dealing with daily e-mail.
