[RESOLVED] Gmail connectivity problem
I am able to receive Gmail messages in my Gmail account but cannot do anything with them , i.e read or delelte the message. If I try to delete the messages I get the following message:
"Some GMail features have failed to load due to an Internet connectivity problem. If this problem persists, try reloading the page using the older version , or basic HTML mode.". I have tried this but it doesn't help.
How can I correct this or failing that how can I delete my GMail account from my Desktop as I have it on my laptop and have no problem with it?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Brian

Are you doing offline Gmail? If not, then there's nothing on your system to delete. It might be a browser issue at that point.

Gmail connectivity problem
Hi Midknyte,
Thanks for the reply. As per your query, I am doing off line GMail. The error message in fact indicates that it is a connectivity problem:
"Some GMail features have failed to load due to an Internet connectivity problem"
Is there anything I can do to correct this or take my GMail account off my desktop?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Brian

Did you try disabling/re-enabling Offline Gmail in Labs? You can also try the "no labs" url:
https://mail.google.com/mail/?labs=0
Did you try flaky connection mode?
Or did you mean another type of offline like IMAP?
You may want to try the Gmail forum also:

Gmail connectivity problem
Hi again Midknyte,
I think you were right about a browser issue, suddenly everything is working well again.
Thanks much for your help,
Brian
