THis link should get you to site page to link in and listen to game on Friday. will be starting on mound. You may have to download an update on some program to listen.

    THE above note was the link i got, i have been in contact with the provider but no response yet, i did everything as instructed.
    tks

    It's an .asx file.. normally played by default by windows media player. The browser associations may have been changed. Sometimes that happens when you install other players or utilities.

    asx files are played by winamp on my pc since I installed that player a while back.

    Try copy/pasting the URL into Windows Media player manually and also look in WMP's associations/options page to see if you can check/recheck asx files.

    VirtualDr email notices are not working.

    I don't have a Vista install in front of me to see specifically where the associations are. Pehaps a Vista user can add that info.

    Did you look in WMP's options to see if you can add it there?

    Vista.
    The Windows Vista tool you use to change file associations in located in the Control Panel under the Default Programs icon,

    When you see this:

    <ASX version = "3.0">

The Show Title

    <Ref href = "mms://adventure-works.com/Path/title1.wma" />

    <Ref href = "mms://adventure-works.com/Path/title2.wma" />

    <Ref href = "mms://adventure-works.com/Path/title3.wma" />

    </ASX>

    You notice that those urls to the songs.

    In that associations window uncheck asx, save it, then recheck it and save it and reboot.

    playlist wmp

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...42(VS.85).aspx

    according to this, i need create a "playlist" by text editing? never did this before or never messed with playlist period. the only reason i am trying to do this is a friend in Texas, his son pitches for a high school team, and the game is transmitted via blackberry as per my first post.

    i have to create a text list in playlist wmp? it appears more so an issue there than the file association in wmp? except it has to be that correct file assoc listed in wmp playlist?

    is the one train listed the one to insert or an example?

    i do not have wmp 11 either, what ever came with vista home premium 32 bit.

    and an added thought before you go there another friend on vista home premium triied to install wmp 11 and vista crashed?

    so how do i create the correct playlist before this friday at 6m?
