Aggravating "Send error report" or "Don't send" message
Hello,
I'm working on my daughter's computer. She's running Win XP SP2. An annoying thing is happening with various applications at different times. As you're working along, an error message suddenly pops up with a message like:
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
<more text>
Send error report. Don't send."
It may not necessarily be Internet Explorer, as there are other apps that are often named there rather than IE. If this scenario looks familiar to you and you know how to resolve the problem, I'd be much indebted to you. Thanks!

When I run into them, I send them. Why, I hope they fix the problem or scream at the guilty party to fix their mess. Maybe wishful thinking on my part though.

Next time you see the error, click the "Click Here" link at the bottom of the error message box. You should then see error information similar to:
Code:
AppName AppVer ModName ModVer Offset
iexplore.exe 6.0.2800.1037 mshtml.dll 6.0.2800.1050 001f19c7
If you'll post this info from your error, it may help narrow down the problem.

Be sure and send the error report...It's pretty nice when you get a reply that works
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

However, if you don't want to report errors:
Rightclick My Computer > click Properties > select the tab Advanced
At the bottom there is a button 'Error reporting'
You chose to disable certain error reporting or all error reporting from there.
