    Thumbs up

    Ridgerunr in Orygun, and others,

Hey, i did it, i used recode and then i'm lost, i tried to or 3 different ways, but i think it was the way i had it filed, anyway after a couple error messages i just kept going , it had to do with compilation, but it burnt from DVD-R TO DVD +R

Miracles happen, i guess the last 2 days i've had patience to waste/
    thanks much

    Question

    OK Thanks,
One of the issues is to save it to the drive in the right place. I put it in a folder i definitely remembered , but when i finally found it under the selection process "different" than i was used to, when it was placed in the burn area, and i started the burn , an error message that these items are already there, do you want to over write them? Are the recode and compile as you say to use, then how do you get this vts_ to a file or desktop where there are no other items.

There may be some other VTS_ on the drive that i did before but not for this dvd-r dvd+r process, i need tyo get something named right to keep the error messages away.
    thanks

    clear as mudd?

Red face Folder or file for VIDEO_TS

When you use recode in Nero essentials 7.10, it always comes up with VIDEO_TS, do you just make a folder every time you use recode for each new DVD you burn? I can do it under windows explorer but in the recode interface i haven't mastered that yet?

Then after you have burned the DVD to your drive, do you always use recode to burn again, or can you use make a DVD data file?

    If it makes a difference?

I did one all the way in recode today and it worked great, just wondering?
    thanks

    Unhappy

When i use recode to "import the dvd to burn" for final, if i go back to do it again later , recode says there are no files. If i open up the folder under explorer they are there. Something i don't understand or can't work out , even if you name them all as you go, it works the same, there is a lock feature but it does not apppear to work?
