    LEXMARK 1200 Series All-In-One Center

    Acer Aspire 1410 v0.3117
    1.40 gigahertz Intel Core2 Solo
    64 kilobyte primary memory cache
    3072 kilobyte secondary memory cache
    4 Gb RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (build 7601)

I have an annoying leftover in my systray from the subject printer, long after uninstalling it...and I can't get rid of it and its flashing red "x".

When I attempt to get rid of it using Control Panel uninstall programs, I get an alert advising that the 1200 series is in use and to please wait for the printer to finish and then uninstall it.

Conservatively speaking, the subject printer has not been installed for at least two years, so could someone please help me get rid of it once and for all?

    Thanks in advance so much!

Anything running in Task Manager's Processes that looks like it might belong to Lexmark?

Click on the View tab in Device Manager and check Show Hidden Devices; then have a look and see if anything Lexmark-y remains. I've had to resort to doing manual Registry excisions sometimes to accomplish the removal.

You might try Revo Uninstaller, freeware version, and see if it can remove it:

    REVO FREE VERSION

Nope...ran the prog, but I still have the Lexmark All-In-One Center in my systray. It did disappear from my Control Panel list of programs, and that's something new, but I'd like to get rid of it altogether )

Next step I would try would be to re-install it, then attempt to remove it, (the 'normal' way).
