C Drive Doesn't Show Up Under System Restore

If I right click on My Computer and then go to Properties and then the System Restore Tab I don't see my C drive listed under status. There is a F drive listed that is a drive from another computer that I am networked to. How can I get my C drive back for system restore?

Select and deselect "Turn off System Restore on all drives" a couple of times, (and leave it deselected | no checkmark), then click Apply | OK?

When I select the box to turn off system restore and then hit apply the checkmark in the box doesn't stick for some reason. When I go back to unselect the box the checkmark is already gone. The box is not staying checked.

On top of that the only drive that is being monitored is the F drive. There is no C drive listed as being monitored. The F drive on this computer is actually another internal hard drive that is a slave. It is not a drive from another networked computer like I had previously stated.

Is the C drive FAT32 or NTFS?

Does your drive C: show up in Disk Management? (Click Start | Run, type in diskmgmt.msc and press [Enter]).

If so, in the "Status" column, is it showing as "Healthy (System)"?

And also as Steve ask, in the "File System" column, does it say "FAT32" or "NTFS"?

It is NTFS. It shows as Healthy in Disk Management. Everything seems to be working fine. I can even create a Restore Point but for some reason under Status for System Restore my C drive is not showing as being monitored.
