    Internet trouble

I'm using a D-Link DI-614+ Wireless router and whenever I'm on the internet it slows down to 0kbps then goes back up continuously.
for example when I'm downloading anything it goes steady for the first 10 seconds then the speed drops to 0kbs for 4 seconds than goes back to regular speed, and that repeats until the download is finished.
    anyone know whats wrong?

Have you tried taking the router out of the loop and plugging the PC directly into the modem/wall connection if you are able to connect wired? Does the same thing happen? The problem may be with your modem if there is one or your ISP.

Power cycle the modem if that does not help, then power cycle the router too.

Power cycle = Just reach behind and remove the power plug, wait 15 seconds and plug it back in. Wait until the modem or whatever comes back on line.
