Parameters shown at bottom of a photo

When I open <photo101.jpg> I see a bar at the bottom of the photo with these parameters:

    a. 4256x2848x24BPP
    b. 353/537
    c. 30%
    d. 1.04MB/34.68MB

I understand a, but not the others. Can someone please clarify them for me? Thanks.

    This is in IrfanView right?

    a. 4256x2848x24BPP
This is the resolution and colour depth of the photo -- 4256x2848 at 24 bit colour.

    b. 353/537
There are 537 files in the directory, and this is the 353rd (in sorted order).

    c. 30%
The current view is scaled to 30% (ie the image on screen is 1277x854).

    d. 1.04MB/34.68MB
The file size on disk is 1.04 MB. If the image was stored uncompressed (ie as a BMP file), it'd be 34.68 MB. That larger number (in bytes) is just height * width * colourdepth / 8, eg 4256*2848*24/8 = 36363264.
Safe computing is a habit, not a toolkit.
