I have a Dell XP that keeps crashing. the last error was Failed at checkpoint WRIT
When I ran the dia I got Fatal Error TNT:10049 Out of stack buffers, CS:EIP are in error values Err values+00000008h 00002B8Bh also said USB Controller )-Memory structure test was running when the above error came up. It did not complete the test. It stopped. Thanks F

Sounds like bad RAM to me. Try testing the RAM using these nice utilities:
Memtest86
Windows Memory Diagnostic
