Hi,i,m having all sorts of problems just trying to use a letter headed document that has been created for me,scanning it in or otherwise from the floppy disk version. and adding text below it.the floppy version has i think been created using word97 whereas my system is only equiped with smartsuite 97 and is a differnt format apparentley from that so it won,t open it .also part of the text heading
has and "old english" style of font which mine does not recognise so puts in ordinary or italic font which i had previousley done for a buisness card because lotus smartsuite 97 doesn,t have or include that font style.Scanning the letter heading text in doesn,t help either because sending it to wordpad or wordpro97 just fires up the ocr software in the scanner and turns it all into gobble de gook. so i can,t even scan it to add anything to it.please help
