Loosing audio when shrinking a .mpg file
Ok so i can record TV shows from my HDTV capture/tuner card. The problem is that the output files it gives me are pretty large, something like 4.5Gb/Hr. If i try using either Adobe Premiere or Ashampoo movie shrink and burn to shrink the files the audio gets lost, plz help. If i right click the file and click properties (on wmp) it says:
Audio codec: AC3Filter
Video codec: CyberLink Video/SP Decoder

Change the setings
Change the quality settings so that the recorded file is smaller then you will not need to mess arround with shrinking.
I use nero recode to fit movies to DVD.
Nero recode has options to pick type of audio tracks that are included.
Check your settings to see if all of the audio options are unchecked.
