That's either a very brave or very stupid cat!
I was lucky enough to see 7 Osprey fishing while out kayaking a couple of weeks ago in some tidal creeks. When out this past Sunday, an Osprey flew overhead with a very large fish. Beautiful birds, what a treat to watch them.
We can't paddle close enough (and wouldn't paddle close enough to disturb the birds) to a nest to tell if it's Bald Eagles or Osprey in it. Will have to take a better pair of binoculars out next time.

stupidly curious I think covers it
Take your camera too next time you go ... I have spotted an eagle here and there down by the water but they never sit still long enough ... they must sense a presence and they fly off.

My friend has a camera, and I have a pretty good one, but since I had an unscheduled dismount (aka kayak bucked me off) when I was trying to get on, I'm still leaving valuables on land for now.
