Commercial Grade DVD Players & Recorders

I'm not sure which thread this should be posted under.

I am working on a project that I need some advice/insight or whatever.

The project is creating a music service specifically tailored for a large chain of convenience stores. Hypothetically the way that this is proposed to work is: The music will be provided on DVD. Each month the business will receive 3 DVDs and trade out for their currrent DVDs.

I need suggestions on DVD recorders (1:10) and if we provide the player on the type of players that are available. One of my concerns on providing the player is lost DVDs that the manager decides to keep (yeah, lost in the mail).

I'm also wondering if there is a player that is capable of dropping in-house commercials or program announcements into the music mix?

I realize that DVDs are old technology compared to sat and high speed conections, but I think the DVDs would be more cost efficient and offer more stability.

I'll be glad to take any questions, comments, ideas or criticisms.

    Thanks

    HB
