Delete local printer port
I was suppose to install a standard tcp/ip port, instead I created a local port with the same ip address I needed for the printer. Now I cannot access that printer.
When I tried to delete the port. I get an error message "the requested resource is in use"
How do I release the resource and delete the local printer port?

Have you tried removing it in Safe mode?

Yes, although I am not able to see any printers in safe mode. Is there a way to access printers in safe mode?

You need to first set the printer to use another port (LPT1: for instance). It doesn't really matter which one, since you're not going to try and print anything. Then you can delete the port you added.
