Resolved [RESOLVED] Displaying two files on WORD97?

I would like to work with two files (say apple.doc and grape.doc), copying material from one to the other. I'd like to display both files on a split screen (say one file above the other). I am pretty sure this can be done but I can't recall how; and I can't find the topic on the WORD97 HELP menu. Can someone please tell me how that is done? Thanks much.

    FWIW ... I am using a PC with W98.

Displaying Two or More Word97 Files

Unless I am missing something in your question, it is easy to display two or more Word 97 files and to use cut/copy and paste to move data among them.
    1. Open each file in Word 97.
    2. Click Window, Arrange All.

Each file will be displayed. You can arrange the shape of each file's window. The active file will have a highlighted border. The only warning I can offer is to remember the first click in a window or its border will make that window active. The window has to be active to cut, copy, paste, or perform any other Word 97 activity. I usually forget this and have to redo something at least once in any session.
