'cannot find DSN in connection string'

    Dudes:

I'm trying to help a customer set up a Crystal Reports connection to Oracle 10g and I don't really know what I'm doing.

She has an Oracle 9i R2 client already installed. After following the screens under 'Create New Connection' in Crystal, she gets 'can't find DSN.'

We're stuck. I've checked the tnsnames.ora and the address resolution is fine. I'm told we should be using OLEDB not DSN but I don't know the difference or how to make the change.

Anyone got a doc or procedure for this?

    Thanks - Giles

DSN's are located in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Data Sources (ODBC). If you know the name of the Data Source, you can create it here.
The only barrier to knowledge is the perception that you already have it.
