    Check your temps. If too high, try cleaning the dust and dirt out of the fans and vents.

    x86 = 32-bit
    x64 = 64-bit

    -- edit --

    If you don't have a way to check the temps, download, install and run the 30-day trial version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition. When you've got it up and running, click the little "[+]" to the left of "Computer" in the left column, then click "Sensor" under it. The CPU temp should be listed under "Temperatures".

    Did you pull the video card and clean the fan blades, I use something like Q-tips and 90+% alcohol.

    You did not say whether you are using a video card or onboard video.

    Fan blades are clear, I'm currently using a gforce 9600 gt GPU.

    I have updated everything...
    I have unseated n reseated everything...
    I have tried rolling back drivers...
    I have cleaned everything...
    I have tested everything and passed...

    ...hence the "Running out of ideas"...

    Most likely the drivers are to new and you need to roll back a few versions is my belief.

    is as far back as the drivers go. Sometimes the latest is NOT the greatest.

    If "everything" was perfect, your "Computer" would not "shuts down while playing games".

    Drivers are to new and are corrupting things. The video drivers as i said are most likely the culprit.

    Nothing new, seen it lots of times since I joined vdr.
