    need jumper settings for quantum fireball HD

    Cannot find anything on the net for setting the pin jumpers on a Quantum fireball series AS 30 GB Hard drive.

    the diagram on the back is for the blind.. It shows three columns and the master is set for the extreame right top PIN only., well the plastic pins will cover two pins and in what direction should the HD be held? up down south north ??? I jys need to know from the power pins over to the right I have 11 pins : : : : : . should the plastic pintab be on the first two ? staightup sideways or what???????

    Maxtor bought out the Quantum hdds several years ago. But they do have Quantum data on their website. The server seems to be down right now though.
