Can't Change my log on screenname
I am running windows XP. I recently created a new user with adminastrative rights. It was basically the same setup as I was running, I just wanted the name changed. Now when I power up the PC it always comes up with my old user name already filled in the user name area. So I have to retype my new name and password. Then it will log on. I was wondering is there a way to make my new name pop up when i power on? I've looked in the users area and don't see my old name but it comes up everytime. Any help would be appreciated.

- Click Start -> Control Panel > User Accounts
- Click the account, and then click 'Change my name'
Please do not use "PM" for personal help, post in forum so everybody can learn

That user name does not show up in my accounts. It only shows up on the log on screen.

Go to Start>Run and type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes. It should show up in there.
