How to access local settings and history
I would like to go into the part of my drive that contains local settings and internet history. The path is C:\Documents and Settings\myname\Local Settings\History. However Local settings is not visible. Is there any way to physically access this?
thanks....

Go to My Computer click Tools|Folder Options|View Tab|In the bottom section fill in the dot next to Show Hidden Files And Folders.
This will then make Local Settings appear, as it was a hidden folder and it will be displayed lighter than other folders and looking almost hollow.
Note: All hidden files and folders will now be visible throughout your computer.
