    Software Caviar 21600

    Got 486 motherboard that won't acknowledge any hard drive over 500 megs. Looking for some software that will help the motherboard acknowledge my Western Digital Caviar 21600 drive. Anyone know of where I can find some? Thanks

    Well the Lord is with you tonight as you found the right Forum.

    Yep them there old 486's some of em had a 540MB limit on the drives. You can use a Over-Lay program which will probably fix ya up.
