Strange Socket On The Back Of My Monitor

Hi, i've got this monitor here. It has this strange socket on the back of it. It's neither an S-Video Socket or an PS/2 Socket. Can someone help me findout what it is? It's be quite neat if it was an video in or out socket

Well, I can say what it's not: it's not an S-VHS connector, and it's not a PS/2 connector.

I couldn't find that model's specifications online... Try giving ADI USA a call. The connector is unlabeled at the back of the monitor, so it may not be intended for the end-user to fiddle with.

Hey, shot in the dark but I once saw that kind of port on a really old hub, used for power. Looked exactly the same as an S-Video or PS/2, and whatever that is.

Probably wouldnt carry enought power for a monitor but...thought I would chip in

ohk thanks =) how would the speakers work then? Would they take power from the monitor th operate? And where does it get the audio signal from? There's also another socket which is possibly related to the speakers. It looks like a power socket or something

I found this:

...on this page here which probly confirms that it is for spekers.

i finally got an email back from the ADI company, it says:

Dear sir,

The socket is the power output of ADI USB Hub......Model# UH-200. The USB
Hub is a optional device as you purchased the ADI monitor.
