Unhappy Infected XP - please advise.

I'm trying to fix a problem with a laptop running Windows XP. For some reason, any time you try to run Task Manager or Registry Editor (regedit), they simply close instantly. I have run Spybot Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware SE, CW Shredder, and a full virus scan with McAfee (all running the newest updates). They all found problems, and all were successfully fixed, but I'm still encountering the problem. Below is the HijackThis log after a successful reboot...

Hi Cerviperus, welcome to Virtual Dr

I think you have some malware there, so I'll move this thread to our specialist Hijack This logfiles forum for our gurus to look at.
    Nick.

I did everything as instructed, and the persistent SINSTANTM.EXE is still there. I tried searching for the file, but it was never found (either in safe mode or normal). I removed it from HijackThis, but couldn't find the actual *.exe file anywhere. Here's the newest log (& thank you for your help)...

It's in your System32 folder Cerviperus. I can see it in your running processes.

Download Pocket Killbox from here, unzip it and have it ready to use.

Close Internet Explorer and all open windows and run Hijack This again. Check the below entries and click on Fix Checked.

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Scuba Instant Messenger] SINSTANTM.EXE

    O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [Scuba Instant Messenger] SINSTANTM.EXE

Close Hijack this but do not reboot yet. Run Killbox and paste the full file path in the box (see below) and click on Delete on Reboot. Next click on the button with the red circle and an X in the middle. You will get a message saying "File with be deleted on next reboot, Process and Reboot now?" Click "Yes" and post a new log when you have rebooted.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\SINSTANTM.EXE
