    Dear Mark519,
I don't think I can be of any help in analyzing the log, but do you know what each running process is? I recently downloaded but have not installed "System Safety Monitor". http://maxcomputing.narod.ru/ssme.html?lang=en
You might want to give it try. It looks like it might help shed some light on your problem.

I am sorry chaszal, I have been away for a few days. I cannot seem to access the site you provided. It wont load. As for my problem, I have tried all the programs that other people suggested in other forums even one I had to pay 30 bucks for. I just dont know where to go from here.

Hi. First of all you need to update hijackthis to version 1.98.2. Run hijackthis & go to *Config\Misc Tools\Check for update on-line*. If the site is down, go here. Remove the old version by opening the program, going to config\misc tools, then uninstall & exit. You then have to delete the file manually. Unzip the new version into the hijackthis folder.

Open Task Manager & end process on the following:
    IEeng.exe
    winlgn.exe

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked':

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = C:\WINDOWS\system32\search.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://srch-qus7.hpwis.com/
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = C:\WINDOWS\system32\searchbar.html

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://mypoisk.com/sp.htm
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = about :blank

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

    -TrojanDropper.Win32.Small.cw

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete the following if found:

    c:\windows\dllhlp.exe
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEeng.exe

    Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup & delete winlgn.exe

Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log please.

x350x. You should have started your own thread, not tagged on to the end of another members .

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked':

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://any-find.com/sp.htm
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://any-find.com/index.htm
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://any-find.com/index.htm
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://any-find.com/sp.htm
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://any-find.com/index.htm

    O4 - Global Startup: winlgn.exe

    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/12ed64c...ip/RdxIE601.cab
    -Netster

    Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup & delete winlgn.exe if found there.
