Sometimes when I am in IE 4.01 and also in cute ftp to link to ftp site and maybe in windows explorer, i will get ie explorer error and it will quit or lock up computer. Is this fixable or am I just in to many programs? I have p166 with 64MB Ram. Thanks
Ya got problems I see. Appears your several problems could be related. If you just loaded everything and IE 4.01 was the last thing you loaded, you may want to try and reload ie 4.01.
However, you need to fix the cdrom problem first and make sure you O/S is running good before loading IE as IE 4.01 makes a lot of changes to your puter, particularily if you are using the intergrated desktop feature.
