create partion on 2000
i installed win2k on a 40gb hdd while in a hurry on a 10gb partion
formatted NTFS the remaining 30gb are unpartionioned.
my question is how do i now create a partion or two on the 30gb left, do i need any third part utilities to make it go easier? also
sisofts sandra shows this hdd as only 10gb is this because the rest is unformatted?
thanks john

Hi jwisneski
Go to Control panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management and you should be able use the in built tools via the right click menu to create and format new patitions in the un formatted space.

Yeah, what 104456 said. Its made really simple in 2000 and up. Also if you only see 10 GB, right click on the rest of the space and choose "Mark as Active".
