    Pny VertoTNT2M64

    Running WinXP PRO AMDXP200+ msi k7N2 Delta mobo with 256 mb ddr ram PNY Verto TNT2M6432MegSDRam video card.
    After the system fully boots the computer freezes for 30 secondsprogram menu freezes as does the desktop DSL Icon after 30 seconds the system "Releases" and everything is fine could use help on this shoe@iserv.net

    Have you any scheduled tasks running at startup such as Antivirus or Autoupdates? Also check all programs running at startup in msconfig . Go to the site below. First of all read the KEY at the bottom of the page, and then click on "List" at the top.Use the Search Box. You can check all you entries here and find out if you can disable them or not. Take good note of the "Key" first.

    There are no programs installed just xp pro on a new install

    Try starting in safe mode and see if it does the same.

    If it works fine in safe mode, then I would suspect a device driver is conflicting with something or is taking an abnormal amount of time to load, in which case you will need to eliminate them one at a time to pinpoint which one is causing the problem.

    At least that's how I would do it. Maybe someone else knows a better way.
