how to roll BACK the previous setting in Windows XP Pro?

    Hi

I have just upgraded the ATI video card and Creative audio drivers from Microsoft update website. After I updated my computer, the video card setting has problem. How can roll back to the previous setting? I have checked the "Add or Remove Programs" in the Control Panel, but I don't know which files they are. So how can I uninstall them? Please help me.

    Thank you for any response

I believe you will find that option in "device manager".

Edited by member: Listen to Miz. I was typing from memory because I am not using XP at this time.

    Hope this helps!!

Right click on My Computer, go to Properties>Hardware tab>Device Manager button.

Expand the Video Adpater category by clicking on the plus sign. Double click on the video card listed there. Go to the Driver tab. The "Roll Back Driver" button will be there.

And in future avoid downloading drivers from Windows Update. There are altogether far too many of these problems when getting drivers from MS. It's far better to get the updated drivers from the hardware manufacturers own website.
