If you plug in the speaker you might be able to get some beepcodes to figure out the prob.
Your manual can be found online here.

it should have been set to boot with that cpu from default....check the seating of your video card and ram first...then check the manual that was posted to reset the jumpers.

Set the corev to around 1.45 perhaps 1.5 , knock the bus multiplier back to 100mhz at nominal. it'll run.
you open to a: booter make the settings and don't try to evoke windows.. (if you're trying to install windows? or from another hd? no way.. this has to be a clean install.

when i say the computer doesn't boot, i mean it doesn't POST. i tried setting the corev to 1.45 and 1.5 and still no luck. i can't find any documentation on the internet about what jumper settings to use for this processor. i got the mobo/cpu as a combo from tiger direct, so i'm sure it'd be compatible. their costomer service seems to be just voice mail and no help at all.

Been talking to a guy on another forum that has problems like yours on product purchased from Tigerdirect. Perhaps you two should talk. http://www.hostclub.net/forums/showt...&threadid=7680

Except for some of the Thoroughbred core Athlons, non of Athlons/Durons are going to run (as you found) with a vcore less than "maybe" 1.65. For your Duron 1.3 (Morgan core) you want it at around 1.75. I would simply set the board jumper to use the default vcore though. Your problem here isn't vcore related.
As for the multiplier.... On your Duron the multiplier is locked (at 13), so switch/bios changes aren't going to have any effect. I would set the jumpers to AUTO for the frequency setting (pins 1 and 2 shorted on jumpers RJ2 and RJ3 for your board). And also set the FSB to 100mhz (switch FJ1 set to 1=on, 2=on, 3=off, 4=off).
Please remember to post back whether your problem is resolved or
not, so that others may gain from the knowledge.

Have you tried this with just the motherboard, cpu/fan, memory and video card only? No keyboard or mouse, no drives what so ever. What size power supply?
