    Windows Media Player 9

    When I try to start WMP 9 I get an error message "An internal application error has occured"
    I have uninstalled it and re installed it and the problem remains.

    A similar problem was fixed going through the Windows Updates from another website. I'd suggest going through the Windows 2000 updates and see if the problem still occurs.

    I reinstalled IE6, and that fixed that problem and many more.
    Can anyone please explain?

    WMP9 uses IE to access the internet.
