trying to set up a restricted user on XP
I want to make a user for myself which will make it to where nothing can be installed unless done with the admin password, so that malware can have a difficult time installing itself on my machine. I need to figure out how to do this >.<

Here's a basic guide over types of XP accounts. (BTW, I don't care for fast user switching. Semms like I remember that it can cause "issues". I can't remember what though... Instead of fast switching, I log off when changing accts.

It might a bit different to what you were looking for, but its quite effective.
Basically stay in admin mode, but run IE in non-admin mode

To create a new limited user account, go to Control Panel>User Accounts, then click on "Create an account". Give the account a name, then in the next screen select "Limited" for the account type. That's all there is to it.
Nick.
