Can't access folders on network drive

I have a Netgear wireless network running on 2 desktops and a laptop. I have XP on 1 desktop and the notebook, Win98 on the other desktop. On the 2 desktops, I can read and write files from both computers but on the laptop, I cannot write to the laptop from either computer. I get the "access denied" message. I have went into Explorer on the laptop and activated Sharing on the drive and on the folders contained within the drive and still get the same message.
I currently have 2 logon identities on the laptop both with administrator privileges and neither one resolves this issue.
As usual, I am stumped and turning to VirtualDr to diagnose my latest malady!
Thanks in advance for the help.

Have you put a password on the shares? If not, do so. If you already have a password on them, change them and try again.
