How do I find out how many memory slots and the type of memory I have...
I want to upgrade my laptop which has 256Mb of RAM but I have no idea how many memory slots I have free or the type of memory its using. Its only a few months old but XP Pro is a greedy thing!
Is there a way I can find this information out? Either through DL'ing a program or looking in my BIOS?!?!

Besides reading the owners manual, you could list out the brand/model of the laptop and maybe somehere can help.

I think this is it, the spec seems the same but I only have 256Mb RAM and I know my combo drive isn't Panasonic. I don't just want to presume that its PC133!
