System keeps rebooting

Hi, can anyone help me. Can anyone tell me why my pc keeps rebooting.

It gets to the Windows 98 Screen and then reboots.

I disconnected the CD-ROM Drive, because I thought it was the
problem, It worked for a day then right back to the same old
thing.

If you can get to the command prompt, try entering the following into your autoexec.bat
path=c:\windows\system

You may also want do look at the directories on c:\ and make sure that windows and system exist (and do not contain garbled characters - in which case you install is corrupted.

Possibly corrupt DRIVER/s also.

I have had this with a win95 machine after I installed SOPHOS AV and ZoneAlarm when I took them off again the PC booted as normal.
