how do I clear the printer cache.
Mandrake 8.2, How do I clear or delete a document from the printer cache. Please be specific as I am a newbie. Thanks.
The printer is a Lexmark Z32.

Normally, lpstat -t will list all the printers available to a system and then list all print jobs in a particular printers queue. A print job looks similar to printer_name-1234. To kill that particular print job type:
cancel printer-name-1234
-mk
If it ain't broke,
Fix it till it is.

Thanks Mike. My question now is: I've been able to delete two print jobs from the query but the last print job is under root. How do I login to a terminal as root to delete the last print job? Thanks again.
Update: Done some reading on the Mandrake site, figured it out. I think my printer problem is solved. Thanks again. Update:
